Sweet 16 Birthday Cake
3 tiered double chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse for a 16th birthday party. It was a black, red, and white affair and the cake captured the essence of the event. Mini hand-made roses and a large bow adorned the cake. We used our Essence Deluxe Ice rolled fondant to cover the cake and make all the decorative elements.

Ladies Shoe Cake
The shoe box is a lemon and vanilla cake, and the shoe is chocolate. Aaarh, the shoe.
We almost packed it in on the shoe. Guess how many times we made this shoe - once, twice? Nope! Nine times!!!! We made the shoe nine times before we finally got one that did not break.
Anyway, we are glad that we got something decent to present to the client, who was ectastic, by the way.

Gift Box Cake
We got a call from a US-based company to make a cake to say 'Thank You' to an employee in the GTA for doing a great job.
When the call came, there was no specific design discussed. All the client asked for was a 3-layer chocolate. Here is what we made.

65th Birthday Cake
We got a request for this cake from a client based in the US with strong family ties here in Brampton.
She requested an elegant cake for her mom's 65th birthday party. She sent a few pictures that inspired her and we came up with this design using some elements from those pictures.
Cake was a light vanilla cake filled with strawberry cream and fresh strawberries.
The client sent us a note to tell us how delighted she was with the cake.

Soccer ball Cake
This is the soccer ball shaped cake we made for a 1 year old.
We used the sports ball pan, and covered the cake in our Essence Deluxe Ice Rolled Fondant.
The black pentagons were cut out of black fondant while the hexagons were marked directly on the cake. Next time a similar order comes in, I shall have my camera ready to capture different stages. Until then, stay tuned.

Wedding Mini Cake Tower
Could not resist sharing this with you. We made this mini cake tower for a June bride, and today, this beautiful picture and a thank you note arrived in the mail from her.
The mini cakes were a mix of both chocolate and vanilla cakes filled with our signature buttercream, and frosted with the Essence Deluxe Ice rolled fondant. The 6 inch topper was a special diet cake because the bride has a few food allergies.
A big thank you to the couple for sharing this picture of them cutting their wedding cake with us.

Elmo Birthday Cake
We made this cake for a cute little guy who just turned one.
We used two 10 inch round cakes for the bottom; and for elmo, we carved three 5 inch round cakes. The eyes were marshmallows.
When the cake was delivered, both Mom and Dad, and Lukas were very excited to see it.
Lukas immediately recognized his favourite TV character, and bounced and crawled toward the cake. That was gratifying!
Watch out for a soccer ball cake for another 1 year old.
