30th Wedding Anniversary Cake

And so it began for this couple who celebrated their wedding anniversary last week. Legend has it that the husband proposed to his wife-to-be while she was in a powder room fixing her makeup.

Jaguar S Type Car Cake

This cake was carved out of vanilla cake and was filled with vanilla buttercream. The frosting is Essence Deluxe rolled fondant that was sprayed with lustre dust.

 

Purple, White, and Lilac Cake

This order came in late, but we managed to squeeze it in. Client asked for a cake frosted with white fondant, decorated with purple/lilac colours. Here is what we did. 

It turned out beautifully. I really think it would look really good as a 3 tier wedding cake. What do you think?

Dora the Explorer Cake

This cake was carved out of round and square vanilla cakes.

I found the arms and hands a bit challenging, but turned out good in the end. Used the Essence Deluxe rolled fondant tinted with food gel on this cake - no airbrush. The mother of the little girl was quite pleased.
