Gift Bag Cake

This cake was a chocolate cake filled with whipped chocolate buttercream. Frosted with black and golden yellow rolled fondant. The edible tissue was made a few days ahead. Edible pearl made from rolled fondant.

Shopping Bag Cake

We got a request from a client who lives in New York to make this cake for her birthday. She was  celebrating with friends in Toronto. Each side of the bag bears the name of the two cities she has strong ties to. The cake is all edible - shopping bag, tissue, and pearl neccklace.
The inspiration came from a cake by Pink Cake Box. Here is our version.
