We are still working on our consultation/showroom and this picture shows the progress we are making. Still waiting for the furniture and working on the display cakes.

For some reason, the colour of the wall is purple and not the rose we thought we ordered. Guess, we just have to live with that. We'll keep you posted

Coming soon........Our Cake Showroom

At Essence Cakes, we are presently working on opening  a small showroom away from the hustle and bustle of the catering kitchen. The purpose is to have a quiet  and comfortable place to meet with prospective clients and discuss their cake options. The showroom will  be open by appointment only. Tentative hours are  Monday to Wednesday 5:15 - 7:30 pm and on Saturdays. 
We will keep you posted of our progress. Stay tuned.

Shopping Bag Cake

We got a request from a client who lives in New York to make this cake for her birthday. She was  celebrating with friends in Toronto. Each side of the bag bears the name of the two cities she has strong ties to. The cake is all edible - shopping bag, tissue, and pearl neccklace.
The inspiration came from a cake by Pink Cake Box. Here is our version.
